Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

We went to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party on Friday night at the Magic Kingdom. The park was decorated for Halloween and they had trick-or-treating. I dressed up as a Stargazer Lily.

I put my costume on in the Jeep and was all ready to roll.

I like riding on the tram. It goes fast.

Faster! Faster! I command it!

It's so spooky.

Eek!

I'm D-O-N-E. What don't you understand? It's way past my bedtime and I am wiped out. At least you took that costume off of me.

Oooo. All better now. I like characters. They have to be completely dressed up though. I went to visit the princesses, Aurora (from Sleeping Beauty) and Cinderella. I didn't like either one of them. They just looked like fancy people. I loved Cinderella's mouse though. She was pretty nifty. She even squeaked at me.

You are so cool!

Hug, hug.

More hugs.

The fireworks were too scary, so Daddy took me into It's a Small World and I fell asleep. All done.

We like to take the boat over to the Magic Kingdom. Look out, here I come!

Once I hit Main Street, all I wanted to do was get the balloon man.

I finally caught up with that tricky balloon man! I think the balloons are as big as me.

Lovin' on the mouse was way better than meeting those overly dressed princess ladies.

Hanging out on Friday

Friday morning we went to Gymboree and then just hung around the house.

Gracie, get out of my way!

Yea, I know. This isn't how you are supposed to "ride" the Wheely Bug. I like to push it around instead.

There's a whole lot of cool stuff in this Fisher-Price Catalog.

I figured out that I could push myself around and slide backward! I'm so tricky!

So Much to Say

How many times do I need to tell you about this poster in Chris' room? Geez.

Magazines also have lots to comment about.

Graduation Days

Miss Jenn called Mommy and said that Dr. Barnett wanted to see me in my Summer clothes at our lesson. In order to graduate, you have to be able to float/swim in Summer and Winter clothes. That's how you'd fall into water in real life, so that's the test for graduation. Miss Jenn said that Dr. Barnett was impressed with Mommy's thank you note and wanted to get in the pool with me again. Thanks ALOT, Mommy!

Modeling my ISR Graduation shirt. Could it be a little bigger?

Graduation day, part one, in my Summer clothes. It looks bad, but Dr. Barnett is splashing water into my face to simulate splashing around by a dog or someone else that fell into the pool. Miss Jenn is recording us with an underwater camera.

Graduation day, part two, in my Winter clothes.

More, Mommy, More!

I know a few signs now. My favorite is "more."

Stickers!

We got some free stickers in the mail. Boy, were they fun!

Just Playing

Tumbling

Peek-a-boo! This is a new trick that I like to perform.

Somersaults are my new favorite!

Helping with the Mail

I get to look at the mail after Mommy and Daddy are done with it. Today, when I was through with it, I decided it needed to be placed somewhere else. Mommy says I'm a "Big Girl Helper!"

ISR with Dr. Harvey Barnett

I hoped it wouldn't happen, that maybe Dr. Barnett would have a meeting and forget all about me. I sure was disappointed when I saw him walk up, all set to work with me on my swimming and floating. I did some pretty amazing things. I didn't even know I could do some of the things I did. He told Mommy we'd be doing some different stuff. He's been doing this for 42 years, so Mommy said I should trust him. Since I am so smart and so coordinated, he changed things up every few minutes. Everything he threw at me, I took on like a champ. Maybe I can get through this! I worked so hard, that I fell asleep on the side of the pool afterward while Dr. Barnett chatted with Mommy. My pediatrician and Dr. Barnett are also good friends. Will I ever be rid of this man?

After my lesson, with Miss Jenn and Dr. Barnett. I was not a happy girl.

Even though I kick, Dr. Barnett said I almost have a perfect float.

Flipping off the side of the pool, as if I fell in, Dr. Barnett is telling Miss Jenn that I am a very good problem solver and part of the reason I kick is because I am bored with the situation. I am bored with just floating around. He says I need a variety of opportunities to practice my skills in. I need to keep my hands down, to push my face and chest up to float calmly.

A vertical drop in. I'm much calmer with my float now. The calmest I have ever been.

Another vertical drop in and I am bored already.

I tend to always want to rotate one way, so we are working on rotating up, from face down, the other way.

Mommy's Rocking Chair

Mommy has this rocking chair from when she was a little girl. Mommy keeps it in her room. I have discovered it and I really like to sit in it and rock. Here I am rocking and looking at my Spooky book before we went to Brunch on Sunday.

Library Chickens

In the city where we go to the library, there are all kinds of chickens roaming around. A hen and a rooster like to hang out by the library. Today, we caught them on camera!

Beautiful chickens with feathers on their feet.

Here, chick, chick!

SeaWorld

We went to SeaWolrd on Sunday!

The manatees were cool to watch.

The dolphins were so exciting!

Look, Mommy!

Puddle o' Fun

The front of our driveway floods when we have a lot of rain. It rained most of the day on Saturday. When it stopped, Daddy and I went out for a Starbucks run and discovered some serious F-U-N!

Crocs weren't a bad idea, Daddy.

Rockin' Out

My brother can rip on the bass!
