Jack-O'-Lanterns

We carved our pumpkins into jack-o'-lanterns tonight. It was really cool to see, smell, touch, and taste what was inside a pumpkin.

Daddy cut all the tops off of the pumpkins for us. (No, he didn't stab me in the hand. Trick photography!)

I helped Mommy with the spoon.

Ooo...look at THAT slimey stuff!

What? I didn't do anything. The spoon just wandered close to my mouth, that's all. Nothing going on here. Just go on about your business.

Gracie was Chris' helper.

Spoon in.

Spoon out and into my mouth.

WARNING: Serious pumpkin carving going on! Stand back!

Raw pumpkin, an acquired taste.

Like my pumpkin guts goatee?

Pumpkin Pickin'

We went to the pumpkin patch at our church and picked out our pumpkins for Halloween. There were all kinds of pumpkins everywhere.

This one is just my size.

Eventually Chris bent to our will and had fun at the pumpkin patch. Teenagers...geez. Why do they always have to be so miserable?

Jack took my pumpkin and put it back in the patch. His Momma told him he had to share and give it back to me. I had no idea what was going on.

Yep. I still have my lil' pumpkin.

Chris got a white pumpkin.

Wait a second, maybe I'll take this pumpkin.

Ah-ha! The pumpkin pickin' spirit got him!

A whole load of pumpkins! One for Daddy, one for Mommy, one for Chris, one for me, and one for Gracie! Is there room for me too? I want to ride.

The stems on the pumpkins are very interesting, Daddy.

Me and Momma checking out the pumpkins.

Hugging on the giant Snoopy. I think he is waiting for the Great Pumpkin.

Finally, a smile! I'm so serious all the time, studying everything, I forget to smile.

Long & Scott Farm

We went to Long and Scott Farm today. They have corn mazes. One filled up 6 acres! Daddy and Chris did a smaller one that took up 1 acre. We also went on a hay ride and played in a huge sand pit. They have a 60 foot slide, fishing, and all kinds of fun stuff to do.

Eek! A scarecrow. We thought he was fake, until he moved. He was really sort of creepy.

Which pumpkin can I have?

These pumpkins are so big!

Corn Paige!

Corn Chris!

Helping Daddy find Chris in the corn maze.

What's this for?

See, Mommy? I can lift these little pumpkins,

Gracie Hugs

Gracie loves to be hugged!

Hugging Gracie's paw.

I love Gracie!

Pretending to Sleep

I like to pretend I am sleeping. I do this almost anywhere. Sometimes I fall "asleep" at the grocery store, at the mall, or at the park. I think it is a neat game.

Even after a nice long nap, it's fun to pretend I am asleep.

Count Von Count's Spooktacular Breakfast

This morning we went to see Count Von Count and the other characters, especially "Mo," from Sesame Street. It was a special character breakfast for Halloween at SeaWorld.

Rosita is so soft!

Bert is a pretty cool cat!

Me and my Daddy watching the show.

Cookie Monster! I am so tired. Can I just snuggle up and sleep right here?

Ah! Night, night!

I got lost in Elmo's fur when he hugged me.

Cheese!

Ooo...an icy wall in the Wild Arctic exhibit. Daddy's favorite.

Bubbles blew all along the trick-or-treat walk.

Elmo, wasn't that some tasty ice cream?

The mister was a huge hit!

Um...I got a little bit wet. Daddy said I looked like Heath Ledger playing the Joker in the new Batman movie. What do you think?

Telly Monster!

Ernie? Where's your rubber ducky?

General Spookiness

We also got some Halloween masks from Michael's. They are alot of fun, once you figure out how to play with them!

Almost got it!

Tee-hee.

Oops, slipped again.

Got it!
