Visiting the Farm

Daddy, Mommy, and I went to the farm today. It was fun! We saw all kinds of animals and we got to pet a bunch of them too.

I love my Daddy.

I am in the wagon and ready to go!

No turkeys bit Daddy on the tummy. They didn't get me either.

My horse's name was Topper. He was fun to ride.

Peeking at Daddy, over the seat, on the train ride

Milking the cow

The cow's name was Sweet Lips. She mooed at me too.

The sheep were really fluffy. They baaed a lot! There were 4 little lambs. One was just born this morning.

The pot belly pig came over and said hello, but I didn't want to touch him.

Kisses for the baby chick

What an adorable baby duck!

I gave the duckling a gentle hug.

I don't understand why you brought me in here with all of these goats and all of this poop. What were you thinking? Poop is messy. Can we go now? No, I don't want to pet the goats. There is poop everywhere. Can't you see the poop? All done, Daddy!

Kisses for the big duck

Look at me, Grandpa!

This is how you drive a tractor!

Mushrooms

The mushroom artist places hundreds and thousands of mushrooms in public places all over the city. He/she struck at one of our favorite parks and we were lucky enough to see the mushrooms up close. They are made of paper bags, rubber bands, and sticks. Very neat!

Someone had come through and squashed some of the mushrooms, so we fixed them and set them back up.

Valentine's Day Parties

On Monday, we hosted a Valentine playdate at our house. All my friends came out to play! On Thursday, we joined our other friends at the park to exchange Valentines.

Having fun digging in the sand box.

Lounging in the wagon.

More good fun!

Time to go to the sandbox.

Lots of goodies to share!

This is my friend Jack. He gave me my first kiss last Valentine's Day.

All of us were born in either the summer or fall of 2007. We are SO big now!

Grandma & Grandpa's Visit

My Grandma and Grandpa came down from Maine to visit my family. We had a blast! We were really busy too. We went to Cracker Barrel, Grandma went with us to Storytime at the Library, Daddy and Grandpa cooked ribs in the Big Green Egg, we went to the Magic Kingdom, and we watched my brother play in his first high school lacrosse game. Whew!

C'mon, Grandpa, let's go!

Waiting in line at It's a Small World, Grandma's favorite ride. We went on it twice!

What a day!

Fish

When we went to Epcot, we visited the Living Seas where I saw Nemo. He was so neat that Mommy and Daddy bought me a Nemo stuffed toy. I like to play with him. I call him Meno. I have the movie, but I don't really have any sort of attention span for it. Mommy says that's okay because there is plenty of time for that stuff later on. All of it must have made an impression on me because I laid down on the floor and told Mommy I was a fish. I want to be a fish when I grow up.

Umbrella

There is a song by Rihanna that is called Umbrella. Mommy has it on her Nano and I guess I have heard it enough times to learn the word "umbrella" and the chorus, "eh, eh, eh." I ask to listen to it sometimes. I was being shy about singing it this time.

15 and Permitted

My brother turned 15! Daddy says, "Where did the time go?"

Chris was more than a little bit excited about his giant chipwhich ice cream cake!

He let me play with the envelopes, after he opened his cards. Gracie helped too.

Puddle Splashing

A cold front came through, but first it rained. We were hoping for a giant puddle in the driveway to splash in. It didn't get too big, but there was some puddle to splash in.
