Festival of Trees '09

This morning we went to the Festival of Trees. We went last year too. This year Santa wasn't around. The sign said he was feeding his reindeer. Daddy checked with a man and found out he feeds his reindeer all week and only comes by on the weekends. How lame is that? Everything else was really neat to see. I told Mommy and Daddy I didn't want to leave.

Making a Christmas tree ornament.

Trying to hang up my ornament on the big tree.

What a gigantic candy cane!

I was all about these blocks last year. This year...not so much.

My first gingerbread man cookie ever!

Mmmmm! Not long after this, I licked him so hard that he fell on the really filthy floor. We couldn't even justify the 5 second rule. Yucka-mucka. Daddy was sweet enough to get me a new gingerbread man.

Eating the head off of my new gingerbread cookie.

I want a Crooked House, Daddy. It says it's only $2250!

Santa is here!

Santa arrived at the mall on Friday. Can you believe he is already here? We had to go and check it out.

There was a lot of craziness outside again this year, so we checked it out for a little bit. We headed inside to wait for Santa's big walk through.

Snowflakes ladies!

What's over there, Daddy?

Santa's here! He lands on the roof of The Cheesecake Factory and then makes his way down through the crowds to the village in the middle of the mall. When he lands, the Christmas tree lights go on.

I kept singing "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star." I told Daddy the tree was the most beautiful tree I had ever seen.

There he is!

Trick-or-Treating '09

We met our neighbors and headed out for some trick-or-treating!

Ty (the dog), Ninja Sam, and Ladybug Paige

We tagged along with Sam and all of his spooky friends!

Let's go, Momma!

No candy...yet!

Gimme some candy!

Can we go now? What are we waiting for? I need to fill my ladybug bag!

The first house was REALLY spooky. The skeleton, the lights, and the music made me hold on to Mommy really tightly.

One last lollipop before bedtime. Whew! That was a whole lot of fun!
